On Computer Start Menu -> Settings -> Devices -> Connected Devices - Add a Device I then hardwired the BOSE to the PC (My Power light was blinking orange and indicated 60% at the time)Īt that point I called up the Control Panel ( Not +Add Bluetooth!!) and clicked Add a device based on the solution mentioned in the link above. (Use Device Manager) Once everything was cleared out on the PC, I would Clear/Reset the BOSE by holding down the power button for 10 seconds. I would also delete the Bose Mini II SE Soundlink in the Bluetooth drivers if it was there. I would always start by clearing out any other “Audio” devices as well as the Bose Mini II SE Soundlink in “Other devices”. It was one of many (several actually) solutions that I tried up to this point, but this is the one I was reading at the time. Not helpful for the rest of us! □ So here is what I fiddled with. There was one thread that I read where they said: “I fiddled with it and it worked”. Here’s what I did to get a sound connection from what I can remember. So I tried all the various suggestions including updating Windows 10 which took about 4 hrs. The Bose Mini II SE Soundlink speaker did not show up on the Audio Device List. Note that using the Setting: "+Add Bluetooth and other devices" to connect did result in a connection under “Other devices” but not under “Audio”: I finally got my BOSE Mini II SE Soundlink speaker to connect and work.
